Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64 bit does not remember my wireless settings

As stated in the object everytime Windows gets loaded it always forgets somethings in my wireless LAN connection settings.

Either everything is set with automatic IP address (and I actually use TCP/IPv4 manual IP address + DHCP disabled in the DSL router) and automatic DNS addresses, or (if set on manual as it should be) something is randomly missing (i.e. the Gateway, the DNS address, etc., etc.).

When rebooting I don't have the feeling that a task is force-closed or that something crashed so there should be no accidental loss of data (?).

Oh and I use Kaspersky Pure v2.x + Webroot Spy Sweeper (this one with LAN control disabled).

What on Earth is going on here?

Did your wifi come with it's own software pack?
The easiest fix might be to give it control instead of windows.

barring that you could completely destroy the current wifi network and try creating a new one to see if that solved your problem (name the new connection differently than the old)
    Wireless Network - Remove

OK thanks, I am going to try the second option instead of installing crappy (aka messy) control software.

hopefully creating a new connection will get rid of whatever bug was causing your system to lose the info.
