Wireless not working on HP Pavilion dv7t-4000 CTO

I have to hardwire my connection to type this. I installed all the graphics/wireless/fingerprint drivers but I still cannot access wireless internet. I don't know what's going on. I just reformatted the PC a couple hours ago. (not factory reset, windows 7 ultimate upgrade)

There are three different wireless drivers available for your model HP, Intel, Ralink, or Atheros. Do you have the correct driver for the wireless NIC being used? You can check that in Device Manger. You can obtain the correct driver in the link below.

Have you gone into "Manage Wireless Connections" in the Network and Sharing center to manually input the correct wireless security and encryption?

This would be the same security and encryption that you have set in your router's wireless settings. Using WPA2 security with AES encryption usually works best with Windows 7 certified drivers.
