Trying to create a new Windows wireless network but can't.

I'm trying to create a new Windows wireless network. When I try to create a new Windows wireless network, I get a message "Windows could not detect any wireless network interfaces". Then when I try to diagnose the problem I get "Troubleshooting couldn't identify the problem". What am I doing wrong?

Are you trying to use a router? If so, What Router are you using to create a network with?

Did you plug the Internet Modem into the Router and than Router into the Computer?

Does your computer detect that the router is connected to the machine?

Do you have network sharing checked in the sharing folder?

I'm trying to set up 'DiscoRecorder' (an app from the AppStore-Apple), so I can use my iPhone to 'tether'. In order to do that, the instructions tell me to 'Create a new Windows wireless network'. My router is hard wired to my computer.
Sorry, I'm not too computer savy, I know just enough to get myself into trouble (sometimes).

BUT, I haven't 'hacked' the phone. The phone is set up as Apple sent it to me (to all their spec's and everything). I've only installed an 'app' to do something on the phone.......

Discorecorder is used to share the Internet from the iPhone to a computer when the computer has no Internet connection, like when you are out and about with your laptop or tablet.

You don't need to use the app to connect a computer already hooked to the Internet.

I don't have that app, but I am guessing that when you run it, it will give you an ssid and password and when you search for available networks it would show up and you connect.
