I'm not sure why closing it would not be sufficient? It leaves no services running in the background that I can see.

And do my part? I have provided every piece of information requested so far, along with any other information I feel may be of use in resolving this issue. I have hardly done something such as posting a single sentence saying 'My internet does not work, please help' with no other information at all. If I want help I have to do my part? I do find it a little insulting that despite my every attempt at both compliance and openness so far, you still consider me to not yet be 'doing my part' here. :<
