    Sharing files

    Hello,

I have spent my whole night while finding out that why I am not able to share files at home group. I would like to mention over here that I can see my friends files but he cannot see mine.
Whenever I tick the options in home group for instance documents, videos, music and etc. they always get unchecked when I come back to home group .
My ''share'' options in properties is also greyed out I have used a lot techniques to enable it but it seem to me impossible.
I have read your many articles but none of them had provided any solution.
I would also like to tell you that my option share media is also greyed out in home group.
Please come with any solution . It will be very kind of you.

    Hi tabo888

You should check the ''Local Area Connection'' to know the ''File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks'' is enable or not . It is enabled as default (ticked). If it is unticked other computers can not see your shared documents on network.

I hope it can solve your issue.
