| | Internet Only Works w/ Proxy Server (Works fine everywhere else though Hi Everyone, I have a Lenovo G560 running off Windows 7 and have been having internet issues only at my new apartment. I'm able to access wifi anywhere else I go but at my new apartment, I have to use an external proxy server (Hotspot Shield) to get access to websites, which is very slow and restrictive. The internet at my new apartment works totally fine because my friends computers can all access wifi/my iphone/ipad can as well. I am assuming it is a Firewall issue but I've deactivated all firewalls and it still doesn't work (at least I think so). Perhaps Group Policy is restricting me? (It says Windows Firewalls State is Not Configured) Please help!! |
