    My connection sometimes get disconnected.

Why my router is sometimes disconnected it's getting annoying specially if i am playing online games, i need to turn off the router then turn it on to connect to internet again so annoying.

My router is P-660HN-T1A and it's brand new.

My old router don't disconnect like that, let's say i experience disconnected about 4 times times a day or 5 my firmware version is 3.40(UTH.1).

Even i am just downloading a file sometimes i get disconnected too.

I am using wired and my wireless is off.

Then if i am trying to fix it an error msg say the dns server isn't responding.

And my cable are working fine i did test them.

This model reportedly when using the auto setup will pick a crowded channel. Use xirrus gadget to see what channels are being used most by your neighbors and choose a different channel.

Did you mean Wireless Lan>Channel Selection: Channel11 2462Mhz? I did not change anything in the setting. And my Wireless Lan is off i don't use it.

Have you logged in to your router to look at the diagnostics or log files to see why its dropping your connection?

Mine shows specifically why connections are dropped.
See what happens after changing your DNS settings.
Other than that its new and its running customized F/W by your ISP...I'd be calling them if its persists.
    Might be a dud.
