Domain network program execution issues.

Hello,

I currently work for a company that is in the middle of changing networks from a local based network to a cloud based network. Everything seems to be going smoothly but there is one major issue that we cannot seem to overcome no matter what we try.

We have a certain program that when executed in a User account with limited privileges doesn't want to work properly. We've given the user full access to the files and folders in which the program itself is located and also given rights to the registry values for it also but it doesn't seem to work. However if we make the user a local administrator it does work. The issue is that we don't users having local administrator access as it defeats the point of moving onto the domain.

We've also tried using elevation programs to no avail. Running as administrator does work but again we don't want users having access to administrator passwords and its annoying and counter productive to go and input the passwords manually for the users.

Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.
