Speeds (Router and ISP)
I just added a router and a wireless laptop to establish a network with my wired desktop. Besides some problems with the Network Map (which seem common) I think things are working pretty well.
I have a general question to which I can't seem to find an answer. My router offers three speeds, up to 54, 150 and 300 Mbps. It is defaulted to 150Mbps.
I'm confused by what this means. If my internet speed from my ISP is 15Mbps would I even be able to take advantage of the higher speeds? Or is internet speed unrelated to the router speed setting. So ultimately what speed should I choose for the router?
