    DNS server can't communicatE

My one year old laptop just randomly quit on me today and the dns won't connect
    Ipv6 is disabled
    I've tried making it static
    I've tried open dns
I've tried the flushing renewing and all that
And I've tried uninstalling the driver
    I'm completely out of ideas
BTW my Xbox (wired) iPhone iPad (both wireless) all work as well as my new laptop workse both ways
My roommate has the same model laptop as mine with issues and it currently has the same problem
I'd be willing to repeat any steps to figure this out just let me know what info you need

Do you have McAfee installed on this system?

You might want to check out this link which is the most likely cause of this problem.

I can't find a program to run it with
I have no Internet on my down computer to download it there

Here is what McAfee is posting as a work around for the problem. It looks like they have you start up in safe mode then you can get online in order to install the McAfee virtual technician which is supposed to fix the network access problem.
