So a bit of history, have 2 windows 7 home premium 64 bit desktops. I recently upgraded my ISP's cable modem/router to a faster one. Since then only one of the computers can surf the web at regular speeds (28-35 mbps). The other one when connected tops out at 240 kbps and slowly degrades from there. I have tested the slow computer on another modem, and the speed returns, i have plugged in the wired connection to my wifi extender and it connects with speed as well. I have updated the
driver, and both computers are using the same version with differing results. If i just buy a new lan card would this resolve the issue? Or might it be something else causing abconflict?
