problem with driver adapter for wireless network connection

My internet was working fine and I was connected to wifi, then it suddenly stopped working.
I did all the troubleshoots and it discovered that there is a problem with the wireless network connection adapter. It shows that my wireless network is there and is on but won't connect to the adapter. I tried updating all the system updates, I tried restoring the system, nothing has fixed the problem! Help!!!

Can you please post a screen shot of the ipconfig/all from this machine?

Do you have McAfee installed on this system?

To test a theory, disable McAfee and see if you can connect.

I have just had the same problem and have been trying to fix for the last several hours. I tried the restore to the last point when my internet was working (3 days ago and mysteriously quit today) and did not work. Did you have to restore to a much earlier date? Any other ideas?

I've only had my computer for 2 days so I chose to restore it back to when it was working. The first time I did this my computer still had McAfee installed and then the problem came back. So I restore it back to before McAfee was installed and did not install it and the problem has not returned.
I also went to control panel>system and security>device manager>network adapters >right clicked on the adapter>properties>power management> and unticked the allow comp to turn off this device to save power
Not sure if this help but its worked since

Thanks for replying with the suggestion. Unfortunately it still isn't working so I'm going to try uninstalling McAfee to see if it makes a difference.
