Wireless adapter/interface or access point poblem

I have an ACER Laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium and I have no trouble connecting to internet until today, when I tried to connect to my wireless network I got an "Wireless connection failed, this device has a limited connectivity with this network". I have never experience this error before and I do not have any windows update prior to this problem.

    I tried:

    - Unplugging and replugging my router after 20 minutes
    - Disconnect all the devices that are connected to the network and reboot the router
    - Resetting my network SSID and password
    - Remove and reinstall the Network adapter card drivers through Windows Hardware management in Control panel on my laptop which has the connection problem
    - Connecting from a different location with a different wireless network

All of the above failed to solved my problem. I even tried to disconnect my laptop from the wireless and plug in the internet cable instead but still no help. The weird part is that I can still see a list of wireless network near my location, and my iPhone and my Mac Mini can connect to the internet just fine. I checked my network hardware and it listed as properly configured and working.

I am not sure what is wrong as I just used the laptop to surf the internet yesterday. The only thing I can think of right now is that my network adapter card has somehow gone haywire and just stopped working.

Check in your IPv4 advanced section to see if your gateway is listed, if not add the router address.

If you can post a screen shot of the ipconfig/all from this machine it would be most helpful. :)

Well.. After checking all the windows and router settings, I finally found out the culprit that cause the connection problem... Turns out it was my Anti-Virus blocking all traffics in and out from the laptop. Hence the limited connectivity issue for both wireless and cable... >_<

I changed the settings and everything works fine now...

    Thanks again.
