I cannot access my internet after recent gpu and psu installation

Hello and i have had this problem for a couple of days, where i recently ordered a hd 6670 graphics and a 585w psu. After installing them everything was working great and then i realized i had no internet connection once i hit the desktop. ( No network access with the yellow triangle)
I have tried many troubleshooting options as
    1. Trying to disable Bonjour which i dont have
    2. Resetting the router
    3. Doing all the flush's ect in cmd
    4. Uninstalling/reinstalling network adapter

    And other minor stuff.

I dont know if its a motherboard issue or just a connection issue but I have had problem like this in the past but it usually doesnt last longer than an hour and im suspicous something may have gone wrong in the installation of the gpu and cpu as it was a little rough at some parts. And if anyone is wondering I run windows 7 home premium edtion 64 bit wih Realtek Pcie gbe family controller as my network adapter.

If anyone could help this incredibly frustrating issue, id be very pleased

edit: forgot to mention I did have internet connection for a small period of time which it said I was connected to the internet but I could not load anything, and that in the trouble shooter it says
"Local Area Connection" doesn't have a Valid IP configuration.

Welcome to Seven Forums abigheadache. I see instances of this ("Local Area Connection" doesn't have a Valid IP configuration) when IPv6 is enabled. Seeing if it is and disabling it is worth trying, although the fact you were changing hardware makes me think it may be an issue with the NIC itself. Hopefully you haven't damaged something.

This MS page will allow you to use the Fixit to disable IPv6 (and another to enable it again if it doesn't help).

How to disable IP version 6 or its specific components in Windows
