Win 7 Machine not visable, in different subnet
Build 7100. 4 machines, 1 windows home server, 1 vista, both wired direct to router, 1 XP and 1 windows 7 both wireless. Window 7 new build fresh instal hooked through Belkin 8053 usb adapter.
Netgear 8200 router. All 3 other machines are visable in attached machines tab of router. The 2 wired machines can explore each other and the WHS console can see and back up all 4 machines. The wired machines get an access error/restriction when attempting to explore the wireless from the WHS console.
In the UPnP tab of the router all 4 machines are listed with both wirless machines showing UDpnp ports in use. All machines but the win 7 show tcp.
Running troubleshooter for WHS on the win 7 comes back that it is on different subnet although I don't see the difference in ipconfig.
The whole purpose of identifying this was to do file transfer from the old xp machine to the new win 7 so now I'm going down the problem solving route of why the win 7 machine isn't showing as attached on the router and why the 2 wirless machines can't be reached by the wired machines.
