    unidentified network - WPA2 wi-fi connection

one of my 5 toshiba laptops is stubbornly holding onto "unidentified network" with the "public icon" while the rest are obediently complying with "my-network" name with "work icon." can anyone please help fix this single laptop. i want to update it but can't connect to the internet with its current settings. i've tried manually inputting IP numbers parallel to the other connected laptops, but it still not connected properly.

    please help.

    God Bless,

    Hello,

Can you please provide an ipconfig/all output for review?

Have you tried removing all the wireless profiles stored or SSIDs then reconnect again to the desired SSID with the correct pass-phrase?
Also, what type of Security or AV software do you have installed?

Click on the Start button, on the 'Search programs and files' type cmd, right click on cmd see at the top, and click on Run as Administrator. From the command prompt (black screen), Copy and Paste these ipconfig /all >c:\ipconfig.txt . Please attach the .txt file to be found in your Local Disk 'C' on your next post.
