Windows 7 32bit Profession and Freenas 7
I need some help trouble shooting a FreeNAS 7 box I built a few months ago. Originally it ran flawless with my old XP box. Two weeks ago I upgraded my old XP computer to a Windows 7 computer.
I am able to see the FreeNAS box and manually copy files and by using RSYNC and DeltaCopy to run a nightly backup. This issue I have is with errors coming from my log file in the FreeNAS box.
I'm using CIFS/SMB to network to the Windows 7 box.
Here's the errors I get:
Sep 12 23:45:45 freenas smbd: read_fd_with_timeout: client 0.0.0.0 read error = Socket is not connected.
Sep 12 23:45:45 freenas smbd: getpeername failed. Error was Socket is not connected
I've tried everything I could find through google and the FreeNAS forum but nothing works. I'm wondering if my version of smbd is not compatible with Windows 7 for some reason.
