How to network with iMAC? each invisible to other
I have an older imac on the same lan with my 7 machines. I need to go get shared files off the iMAC. the imac is setup with a shared folder, is on the net, but from my windows 7 home premium laptop I see nothing but my winxp machine which is on the same. no hint of the mac, though it is on [has internet access, has ip address, has name, id, login/password for sharing]. what's the secret?
