Laptop and Desktop computers unable to game online at the same time

Hey, the issue I'm having seems incredibly specific. I have spent hours and hours, on separate days through the past 6 months trying to solve this problem. The problem is this, we have two computers connected through our BT homehub (V2), one is a desktop running from wired and another is my laptop using wireless. For some reason whenever the laptop games online it kicks the other computer from the network. This seems to be the case as the desktop loses connection to the internet "no internet access". This is what most frequently happens. Sometimes the desktop computer just loses connection to the game session but not the internet. What is weirder is that this also occurs during LAN gaming, with the desktop becoming fully disconnected. The connection then restores it's self after about 5-10 minutes. This only occurs with gaming. The laptop computer can be browsing or even streaming videos and nothing happens, the laptop computer can also game and not effect the connection of the desktop. Only when both computers game does disconnection occur. Also the desktop works with other computers, as another laptop was brought to our house and connected to a network (wirelessly) enabling both computers to play together on minecraft. The laptop (hp Dv6) seems to be the issue, as this was not possible when the laptop (hp Dv6) was thrown into the mix, resulting in the disconnection of the desktop only.

I have run full virus scans with AVG, Spybot Search and Destroy and Malwarebytes anti-malware.

I have tried disabling both the windows firewall and the Homehub's firewall, to no avail.

The laptop is a Hp DV6 series, the desktop is custom but professionally built. Both computers are running Windows 7 Professional.

Games I have tried include:
-GTA IV and Episodes from Liberty City
-Team Fortress 2
-Guild Wars 2
-Left 4 Dead
-APB Reloaded
-Mount & Blade
-Dark Souls
-Saint's Row the Third
-Battlefield: Bad Company 2
-Minecraft

Any help at all would be much appreciated, this problem has pretty much ruined all my gaming experiences for the last 6 months.
Thanks.
