Windows 7, XP, and OSX Workgroup Problems

I have a problem that I've been trying to find an answer to for months now. I have searched all forums I could find and cannot find an answer. My problem is this:
I have my main desktop running Windows 7. My other desktops and laptops are running Windows Media Center 2005. The Mac is running OSX 10.5.7. All the computers play nice with file sharing working perfectly fine, until I start up a second Windows 7 computer. Once a second Windows 7 computer is on the workgroup for a few hours the file sharing between the XP and Mac computers no long works with the Windows 7 computers. Windows 7 computers access the workgroup fine and can share files no problem. The XP computers get the "Workgroup is not accessible blah blah blah" error. The Mac computer also will not connect to any of the shared drives. If i reset all computers on the network and reset the router all is fine again for a few hours. If I only have the one main desktop running Windows 7, file sharing works fine indefinitely. I have tried disabling any unneccesary services on the second Windows 7 computer related to networking or media sharing. I got the file sharing to work from last night until this morning when it stopped by disabling the Windows Media Player Receiver service. I am using a D-Link WGL-4300 router and have tried to verify all settings i can on every computer. No firewalls running on any computer on the network, all computers on same workgroup, same subnet, same IP range. I had the same problem months ago with Vista. Workgroup is fine and accessible by all computers until a second Vista computer is started and running for a few hours, then only Vista computers can access the workgroup. XP computers and OSX cannot until all are rebooted and the router is power cycled. Internet access is always fine, only problem is with workgroup access, and again only if I start more than one Windows 7/Vista computer. If anyone has any ideas or has had the same problem let me know. Also I've tried updating to SP3 and installing the LLTD update, and IPv6 protocol on the XP computers, and it makes no difference. My goal is to upgrade all my PCs to Windows 7 so on the PC side this will not be an issue, but my wife uses a Mac and it suffers the same problems as the XP computers. I imgaine if I can solve the problem for the XP computers before I upgrade all of them, the problem will be solved for the Mac. I am also going to see if upgrading the mac to Snow Leopard will help with that too, though I doubt it.

    Update:
Apparently disabling IPv6 on the other Windows 7/Vista computers takes care of it. So far since posting this sharing has been working without any problems. I wouldn't call it solved yet though because I have only intermittently used a second Windows 7 computer for a few hours at a time here and there.
