Windows 7: setting up new work network across 50 locations

setting up new work network across 50 locations

i am working on setting up a new work network across 50 different locations with user having specific rights. initially i can setup a pc using all the customize settings and create an image disk to install it in all the PC at different locations .. i am trying to figure out what is the best way to make any changes in future ... i dont want to remotely access all of them to give permissions or take permissions in future.. help please

You will be using a domain controller and depending on the network connection between the locations, you may need to have a domain controller at each location.

does that mean if i use domain controller ..it will make easier for me to implement changes in various locations without accessing each and every machine?? .. can you elaborate a bit please.
