Problem in using TP-Link pci adapter with WiMAX router

Hi, my problem is, that i had an adsl connection, with two routers, one for adsl, and the other for the wi-fi, all laptops at home , worked well, and my desktop too, it have a TP-Link, pci adapter, and it worked very well, we have since come time, another connection, the router don't need a phone line, it only need energy, it's a WiMAX router, now all laptops works well, except the desktop, that have the tp link adapter, it used to give me a yellow triangle, before, on this connection, and connected with the old one , but now the old one has ended, and now , the desktop can't see the other one, (that i say, is a WiMAX) so what can i do? i need the connection in my desktop too, and i cant put a cable, from the router, to my computer, because they are in different rooms...
Can anybody help me please???
I wish my question is easy to be understood ^_^
Thank you
