Let me see if i understand this correctly.

From the image posted in #6.
Your local lan connection is connected to you're router. (It states is an unidentified network) That will cause it to automatically switch the network type to private. to set this open Network & Sharing and choose change network type.

A private network will not allow you to share any data and network discovery is off.

Connection #2 is your Media box connected to your pc?

Why dont you just connect your media box to your router LAN port?

I couldn't choose the Network type, more specific instructions?
Media Box? You mean the wired adapter?

Theres 2 adapters, 1 is upstairs connected to the modem/router
And the other one is right beside my computer which is wired to my PC

I've also tried bridging my internet which worked, but it made it slower than before.
More lag, more slow.

Media Box meant the Western Digital box.

You have 2 interfaces.

Local area connection & local area connection 2

What is plugged into each of these?

Does Local Area Connection 2 still show no device plugged in?

After you get the connection working (a connection is made from each adapter). Go into the adapter that your computer uses to access the router/modem.
Right click and go to properties.
Inside of properties go to the sharing tab
Checkmark "Allow other network users to connect through this computers internet connection."
Uncheck "Allow other network users to control or disable the shared internet connection."
This will give you're Western Digital Box (connected to the other adapter) a 192.168.137.1 address.
