Wired Internet Stopped Working

Hey im new to this forum and i am frustrated with my internet
Im currently using a Western Digital box, wired to the box and to my PC.
It worked for a couple of days then suddenly it stopped working, yellow exclamation mark.

According to the ipconfig you aren't getting anything from the router for the wired connection so resetting the router might be a good place to start.

How many of those Tunnel adaptors are showing up further down the ipconfig?

The adapter and Ethernet plug isn't connected to the router. My brother help me set it up last week and it was working fine.

The adapter is connected downstairs to a wall plug and to my PC.

The adaptors I'm talking about are the Tunnel adaptors which are showing up in the ipconfig. It appears as if you have way too many of them which will prevent the connection from working.

Try saving the file below, unzip and run the file, 32 or 64bit which ever your system is. This will remove the extra tunnel adaptors.

Can you give us your exact topology?

Is this the only device not working?

I believe you're saying that your Western Digital box goes to your wall outlet, to your PC. If you're running the the Western Digital box from your network why not just plug it straight into the router/switch, but anyways if its plug into to your pc can you post screenshots of your adapter settings?

Also If you network connection is running though your PC you need to make sure that your PC is on.

The whole probably that you're having is your Western Digital box is not able to connect to the DHCP server.

My modem/router is upstairs, and im currently downstairs.

Your connection shows that no cable is plugged in. Check the connections and try a new cable if possible.

Also move your box in the same room as the pc and plug it in that way to see if its the cable or connection in the wall.

I tried 2 different cables, and the box is right beside my computer.

What happens when you plug your box into your currently active connection? Does it still show up as no device plugged in? If it doesnt then i would suspect that your NIC on the PC.

Alright so theres 2 adapters i've mistaken.
1 is upstairs connected to the router (d-link) http://multiply.com/mu/ciptatrading/...nzZkJGQ&nmid=0

The second one is connected to my PC.

Or do i connect the cable upstairs to my modem?
