Thanks for the help guys, torrentG made it a bit more reliable.. But I've figured out its definitely my router which I should have known considering resetting it fixes the problem, time to buy my 4th router in less than 3 years

Before you go and by another new router, there are two things I haven't seen mentioned here.

In the router's wireless section, you can change the channel frequency.
Maybe one of your neighbors is on the same channel.
Try setting it to a different frequency, and see if that helps.

Also check if in the router there are time restrictions set.
Some Linksys models have an option to allow connection for a set period, like from 8:00 to 20:00.
I haven't checked if your router has that option.
