Windows 7: Wifi booster maybe

Good morning all.I have windows 7 and using orange broadband my main pc is connected with an ethernet cable and two laptops and ipad working on wifi.
There seems to be a drop in the wifi on the ipad.Was thinking maybe a wifi booster downstairs as the new orange brightbox is upstairs in a spare bedroom come home office.
I did a test on my laptop this morning at about 1150hrs and the results was
Download speed was 15.99.Upload speed was 1.03.
Do those figures look okay as they dont mean much to me.

Any further help here please.Would a wifi booster help the situation down stairs or are the figures given sound fine?
