Mmmm. OK, just so I'm clear....you can still access the internet normally from this PC, or not at all?

Apologies, I see in your first post you said you can use the internet normally.

Please do the following:

1. Click
2. In the Search box, type run and hit enter
3. Copy and paste the following bold text into the run command box and hit enter

notepad %windir%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

4. Copy the text that appears in Notepad, and paste it here in your next reply.

Also, please try this:

1. Click Start
2. In the search box, type cmd
3. In the list that appears, right-click on cmd.exe and choose Run as administrator
4. In the command window that opens, type ipconfig /flushdns and hit enter.
5. Check to see whether you can access Windows Update.

Regards,
Golden

# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# space.
#
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
#
# For example:
#
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host
# localhost name resolution is handled within DNS itself.
# 127.0.0.1 localhost
# ::1 localhost
