Loss of wireless connectivity windows 7 HP 64-bit (after update)

The wireless adapter does NOT appear in ipconfig! but Ethernet does.

Ethernet works properly.

Unable to rollback/system restore as all deleted (don't know how or why).

There is no wireless connectivity and with a USB wireless adapter the same problem. Hardware installs and says working OK, but unable to connect to wireless also.

Ipconfig is:

Does the wireless adaptor show up in Device Manager? If not try going to the view tab in Device Manager then choose "show hidden devices" does it show up now?

If it still doesn't show up try shutting down completely, unplug the battery for a few minutes then boot back up and see if anything changes.

Loss of network connectivity
Heya, This has been an issue since I upgraded to 7201. It isn't constant, and seems to be worse when I'm downloading large files, especially multiple files from one source (like an album in iTunes). It is fixed by release/renew (or just letting Diagnostics do that). If I'm not using a lot of...
