Lap Top & Wireless Printer

I have a local network and the printer connects to a wireless router using a USB cable, I am about to get a wireless printer. My Lap Top connects to the internet wireless throu the Router when I bring the Wireless Printer will I need to connect to the printer thru the Router or directly to the printer

I am not a Network wizard so I need help

Connecting it to the wireless network will give you access to it through your network.

Make sure its either setup as a DHCP client or give it a static address (however your network is setup).
1. Then you will just need to go to devices and printer
2. add a printer
3. Choose a network printer.
4.Should pickup the printer in the search, then just select the printer. If it does not find it let us know.
