| | Permanently turn off Network Sharing and Discovery? I know how to turn off Network Sharing and Discovery for Personal and Public settings. However, when I turn log off, the settings restore to the default 'on' for sharing. So, when I reboot into Windows, I have to manually turn them off, and it is frustrating to keep doing that each time. The Function Discovery Provider Host service is not running since I turned it to Manual (from Automatic) so that is not an issue. I have this problem with Win 7 Pro and discovered the same issue with Win 7 Home in another computer. Anyone know a way to make the changes permanent?
