Centralized updates?

I have 6 x Windows 7 PCs and a W2K3 server running on a network.
Is there a way to save bandwidth from my ISP by downloading MS updates to one location on the network and distributing to the other PCs?

I think that perhaps Windows Server 2008 has this facility...

if not you could always turn automatic update off and have windows server download all the updates and install them manually. probably not worth the hassle though.

Have a look at Windows Server Update Services 3.0 SP2 (WSUS) - http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

If bandwidth usage is an issue and you keep machines all at the same level of updates, you could just update one machine then copy and paste the contents of a folder to the other machines. Then do WU on them. While updating them, it will use the content you placed manually instead, and not download from Microsoft. The folder is C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download
Also, you could delete the entire contents of this folder if you want at anytime. It's cool.
