Windows 7: how to transfer files using (adhoc) ethernet cable between 2 pc

how to transfer files using (adhoc) ethernet cable between 2 pc

i have tried transfering files through windows easy transfer but after transferring files it screws up my desktop like changing desktop backgroud, themes, setting and many more



what other alternative software should i use to transfer files

ONLY ADHOC not through connecting internet

nfsworldpinoy, you could try using a 8 or 16gig usb device that are now getting pretty cheap.

Seems to work fine..

Put them on the same network. Then you will be able to see it and transfer anything from it to the pc you`re on. Easiest way to do it, me thinks.
