Dual screen extended display interfering with network connection?
Hello seven forums!
I have recently moved into a new house and i am trying to get my set-up working i currently have an Acer Aspire 5741 laptop linked into my LG19LV250U 19" screen thru the HDMI port. Now in my last house i would use the LG screen as an extended display (in which to do my multitudes of uni work) and connect to my router through my laptops wifi without any issue, now in my new house when i run my laptop without being connected to the LG screen it connects to my network perfectly fine, however the second i plug in the LG screen as an extended display my network connection is lost.
I have spent quite alot of time playing around with the two screens and this network issue only seems to arise when i use the LG screen as an extended display. When i duplicate the desktop onto both screens the connection returns (in time) and will cut out again if i return to extended display and if i disconnect the screen all together the connection will return.
None of my tech savvy mates can come up with a theory as to why this happens, so any help is much appriciated. Thank you for reading
