    deleted AppMgmt from NetSvcs


    Hi gang, i have a friend who used OTL and deleted AppMgmt from NetSvcs in a fix, i know that OTL does not have a restore function so anyway to get that back.
    Any suggestions ??
    Some one suggested writing a Custom Fix ? Do you know any that might work !

    this machine is running XP ........ its a Dell !!

Hello lately I've found my PC slowing down to a crawl and when I check the resource monitor, it's a process called svchost.exe (netsvcs) that's committing massive resources (see attached screenshot). I've looked here, run the Win 7 scan (sfc /scannow) which didn't find any issues, nor did a...
It's been doing this for a while now, too.. I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but I disabled windows update a long time ago; if I try to update it now, my system can't handle it, and it reverts its changes. Help would be appreciated. Where would I start?
