    Lan isssues

    Hi
Lately at a start up it takes my computer long time to establish network connection .The skype icon takes a long time to get green and the network icon is probing for a long time , what is most unusuall that i have a data streaming program that is connected immediately to the internet and the data streaming is working perfectly while the rest of the computer is still searching for it , while probing i cannot open Explorer/FireFox.
It is like i have 2 kinds of connections in 1 computer. the computer itself is connected to a router and another computer that is working on the same router does not suffer the same issues, i guess in one of the updates something has changed but i cannot put my finger on the cause.
    Thank you

Hi please try a system restore to a point before the issue first occurred.

If issue still persists is this a wired or wireless connection.

Turn off the data streaming program and see if things improve.

What is the data streaming program you are using?

    Poblem solved................:)
It was AsusFanService that blocked the LAN connection, i have no idea what it does and probably came on board in one of the updates but disabling it solved the problem

Glad your issue is resolved you may be able to get an update for the fan control service so you can re-enable it please check the asus website or use the update program on your asus.
