    Added password to router now I can't connect


    I have a linksys router which I never secured with a password. I was able to use it with no issues until I added a password. The router works fine, I've connected my phone , Xbox, and laptop with no issues. My upstairs computer in the other hand I can not connect. It asks for my password and does not connect. It also asks for network authentication. Need some help here if any have experienced this issue.

    Welcome to Seven Forums,

    Are you talking about the password to get to your router setting? If this is the case try using a different browser (FF, Chrome, IE9, etc..).

    or are you talking about the pass-phrase or wireless security?
