Configuring Win7 Pro as Remotely Controlled Download PC

Hello Win7 Gurus and experianced users

i am new to windows 7 after finally making the jump from XP.

i need to know where all the settings are that might shutdown/power off my PC.

Already i have found and changed:
settings that power down my wireless network usb and harddrive - off
ability to power off all usb ports - off
    sleep mode - off
i have made max remote access 30days.

what are some other settings that may suspend or logoff or power off my pc and stop it from downloading

    thanks for your help

    remote access downloader

I thought i provided enough information, but here it is in entirety.

I want to use RDP to control the windows 7 pc using an admin account, where i will run flashget/orbit downloader/replay media catcher to download and record streams.
I tried lastnight but then it seemed the PC shutdown or lost connection after a short time. in my prior post i stated settings i have found already, but i an new to win7 so i dont know where all the settings are.

please if there are any other relevant settings to do with powering off computer components or RDP sessions let me know

any helpful response is muchly appreciated

    :)

The network card has a Power Option also so turn that off as well. It is in the Properties of the Network card in Device Manager.
