Windows 7: Dual boot with Ubuntu 12.04 - Can't connect to internet on Win 7

Hi, I am struggling to connect to the internet on Win 7 but can connect fine on Ubuntu 12.04

I have dualboot Win 7 and Ubuntu 12.04.
I can connect to the internet no problem in Ubuntu.
In Win 7 I can connect to my local network and it shows as having internet connection, but I can not browse the internet. I have tried running the following commands in cmd

netsh winsock reset catalog
netsh int ip reset reset.log hit

I have tried unplugging my router, running Windows 7 network troubleshooter, resetting my wireless card.

I can not seem to find a solution, I don't know what is causing the problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

Im not sure if this has anything do to with the dual boot configuration. since you're receiving an IP address for the DHCP server on Ubuntu but not on windows. My first though that it might be a dhcp lease issue but i cant say 100%.
I would run the command ipconfig /renew from an elevated command prompt. When you turn CMD into the search bar right click on it and run as administrator.

Check with the manufacturer website for updated drivers.

I ran ipconfig /renew as suggested. Then I tried the network troubleshooter which came up with some errors, I have saved the diagnostics log but as it is an .etl file I don't know what to do with it! I recall it said something along the lines of not having a valid IP configuration. Is there some way to open .etl files? I thought that as it was a win file it would open by default when double clicking, but no such luck!

Did you check with the manufacturers website for driver updates for the wireless card?

OK, Thanks to Parman I have managed to solve this. I should have checked this before but it still doesn't seem to make total sense to me. For anyone else who encounters this problem, these are the steps I took:

1. Booted into Win 7, wrote down the driver version (RTL85n86.sys) and then deleted the driver.
2. Booted into Ubuntu, downloaded the driver from here Realtek 8185 Extensible 802.11b g Wireless Device Driver Download Version 6.1122.1016.2009 - Windows Driver Database - techETA
3. Booted into Win 7 again. At this point Win 7 reinstalled a driver for the wireless card, which still failed to work.
4. Ran the setup.exe from the file I downloaded, which installed the driver and the wireless utility
5. Internet now works
6. Tried to uninstall the wireless utility. This deleted the driver too so my internet didn't work again.
7. Installed just the driver from the pack I downloaded. Internet did not work.
8. Re-ran setup.exe, internet now works.

The part I can't seem to figure out is that the driver I had installed (RTL85n86.sys) is the same driver that is installed now!! Also, it doesn't seem to work without the utility installed.

I can live with the utility installed, I'm sure one of you guys could figure it out if you wanted to, but I'm just happy to have my system up and running properly.

The driver could have just became corrupt. I'm sure the driver can be installed with out the utility. If you would like to me look into it let me know.
