networking for noobs

I know a little more than the average user when it comes to PC use and diagnosing problems. I can always learn more.
I'd like to start to learn about networking of which I know very little. Are there any books that cover the basics, such as what is an IP address and how office networks are setup (routers/firewalls/etc.)?

I cannot attend school at this time.

Thanks
