errors with a Motorola SBG6580 (no dropped connections)
I've had this cable modem/router for as long as I've had cable internet. At the beginning it would drop connections, and the speeds were OK but not great (a little faster than AT&T DSL). I would also get alot of errors.
With each software upgrade, the speeds have gotten alot better and the errors are basically gone. But I seem to get this error and from the time stamp it looks like it happens when I use IE to log in to the router. Is it sending a signal looking for a software upgrade but none exist, hence the error? It also states it's a critical error.
I've searched online and haven't found an answer.
