Having random internet disconnects, certain programs still work

Hello Everyone, I sure hope you all can help me again.

The problem I am facing is that my desktop randomly loses internet connectivity. But, here is the weird part. When my son plays minecraft, the internet may cut out, however, he can still play on his server as if the internet is still running. He also uses a mumble server, it too will continue to run perfectly even when the Network and Sharing center shows that the internet is disconnected. However, in that state, no web pages will load. I am quite confused by this, and am not sure what else to do honestly. I tried flushing the DNS and that helped a bit, however, it hasnt seemed to cure the issue. Even now I have had to disable and re-enable the ethernet adapter to get the internet back. I updated the drivers to the latest i could find but the problem still persists.

Thanks for any help you can provide, it is greatly appreciated
