I'm new to the forum and not too tech savvy, so please be patient.
OS: Windows 7 64 bit
Laptop: ASUS Notebook K60IJ Series
I work from home a lot by remoting in to my PC at work. Last week I was able to remote in just fine, but today could not using my laptop. I could remote in using my wife's laptop just fine, but could not using mine. I get the following error:
Could not connect to terminal server
I can log into the network just fine. I have a random passkey that I enter etc. But, when I put in my workstation ID and try to connect, I get the above error.
Again, I was able to log in just fine using my wife's laptop today, but not mine
I have not made any changes recently (that I know of)
Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you give me something to try, please provide step by step instructions on how to complete the steps. Thank you
This seems to be an Internet Explorer issue. I downloaded and tried to remote in using Firefox and it worked just fine. Any ideas why IE is now giving me issues? Is there a setting that changed? I was gonna try to uninstall and reinstall IE, but it does not come up in my list of programs to uninstall...
