How to copy/move files from networked disk to networked disk

G'day everyone

I have an external hard drive on my network (WD MyBook Live). I can copy or move files from my computer to that hard drive, and I can copy or move files from that hard drive to my computer, without any prompts, using both Windows Explorer and various copy programs (e.g. TeraCopy, SuperCopier, etc). However, when I try to move or copy files from one folder on that external hard drive to another folder on that same hard drive, I get security error messages and the copy/move operation fails. What can I do?

When I use Window Explorer and use drag-and-drop to move the folder, I get this message:

The help file says I must change my settings in Internet Explorer, which I have tried by setting all zones to "Low", but still I get this message, and although if I click "OK" it calculates the files, it doesn't move or copy at all.

Moving the files "via" my own computer is simply not an option for me -- we're talking gigabytes of files, and my network copy speed is 5 MB/s on average.

When I try to copy or move files using a third-party copier program, I don't get the above error message, but the copy or move doesn't happen. I can use those same programs to copy/move files between the external drive and my own computer, though.

Any ideas about what I can try? The files I try to copy are not "harmful" -- they're DOCs, TXTs, JPGs etc. And I get no such message when I try to copy the exact same files from my own computer to the external hard drive or vice versa -- only when I try to copy/move from the external disk to another folder on the same disk.

I'm using Windows 7 HP 64-bit.

Thanks
Samuel
