Having issues with sharing permissions Okay 3 desktops same configs one laptop, all on 7 pro! Gonna be connecting them through a router, then the laptop wirelessly! The three desktops all have an account named student, i can create one on the laptop if needed. Need to give certain read only, read write, no access, to different computers on a folder on each computer, when looking i could not figure out how to find the other computers in the advanced sharing? Should i see the other computers in the location section once everythings connected like in the screenshot?
And once i get them all there will i be able to give them the different permissions?
Sorry if this sounds dumb but man i had problems trying to figure it out today first bad router settings, then got the router working, and just couldnt figure it out! So i come here for some pointers before i give it another shot Thursday!
Thanks! | My System Specs |

Thanks! In order for those other Users to show up on the "Share With" list you need to add those Users on your own machine as a standard user account, otherwise they will not show up so you can set up those special shares for each User.
