Internet issues - Long time issue
Hello, I have been having problems with my computer for over 6 months now, and it is getting on my nerves. I am going to try and explain the issue (s) as detailed as possible;
Whenever i play online games i get disconnected, for no reason what so ever, and my browser works fine and everything.
And this is especially annoying when i play world of warcraft, and sometimes it isn't an issue at all, but other times it is unbearable. I even tried to buy a wireless network adapter to see if the switch i used that was the problem but it still wont work at times.
And my laptop works fine playing games, never a disconnect what so ever. And that is on a wireless connection...
I have probably tried to reformat my computer 6 times give or take a few. But it is not helping, however i have two disks one ssd (Corsair F115) and 1 hdd (Samsung spinpoint F3 1tb) and i never reformatted the 1 tb one, because that is where i keep all my photos, movies and music.
So what i'm trying to say/ask is if there might be a virus that just lobs on to the new disk as soon as it is connected and then cause trouble for my internet connections.
And alot of times i have downloaded without having a anti-virus present on my computer, and i have over 700 gb of movies and games on my computer. And i am a little hesitant to delete all of that.
Also my ssd i think has the old buggy sandforce controller, so basically that is a crap disk and i consider buying a new one
A short summary of the issues;
Random disconnects, having to refresh pages because they stop randomly loading (Refreshing like 5-6 times at maximum, maybe more)
Sorry for a messy wall of text but i am getting really frustrated. I'll post the computer specs underneath.
Asus sabertooth P67
Gainward GeForce 570 GTX GLH Golden edition
Samsung spinpoint F3 1TB
Corsair F115 115 gb
4x corsair XMS3 2 gb modules
Asus N15 something something...
Chieftain 750w modular
Corsair H70 (Dont know if that is relevant but i add it just in case)
I will greatly appreciate some help even though it could be anything and i get that...
