Network card - Ethernet not plugged in

Hey not sure if this has been posted up before i had a quick look but i seem to be getting this one frustrating problem with my network card or something.
Each time i load up my computer everything is running nice and smoothly when i start to open up alot of things that uses internet (or simply play a game) all of a sudden my network card dies and starts saying "An Ethernet cable is not plugged in" blah blah. Anyways the cable works 100% I've tried about 6 different cables all resulting in the same thing..

I've tried updating the driver that still didn't fix
I've tried uninstalling the network adapter and reinstall didn't fix it
I've disabled Ivp6 thingy still doesn't fix it

I'm connected to a Router/homenetwork using a REALTEK PCIe GBE Family Controller and computer specs are in my profile.

Thanks and sorry if this is same issue has been resolved and floating around in another thread

Hmmm... My thought was a bad cord. Well.

Have you installed the same driver? Is it updated correctly?

This is the list of driver I have tried: windows 7 update driver for realtek on May, driver get from vista backup via drivermax, and recently the updated driver on realtek website. Tried all of them, none works so far. I really hope that all the wisdom can at least help us fix this problem since it the only reason I have to switch back to vista now. I love windows 7 though

yes. If It worked, then there is no reason for me to do all the updating. I have been constantly reinstall at least 3-4 times this week just to try everything to fix this problem since you guys said clean installation might help

    Alright....

Do you happen to have a separate ethernet card? Most don't but we could at least see if it is the Motherboard, or OS.

    Perhaps a BIOS update?

Look this is the post I posted on the other thread:
Well, I will summary my problem first. I installed windows 7 RTM ultimate 64x dual boot with vista. I connected my internet via my uni proxy. The network is totally fine with vista, no dropage. But with windows7, the net will work for a period (10 mins to 30 mins) then suddenly it will say "cable unplugged" or should I say network disconnected . After 1 mins or so it reconnects itself and keep doing on/off all the time. I have tried fresh installation of windows with update lasted driver of my network card Realtek, I even tried to use windows 7 recommended driver but its old compared to the one on the realtek website but either way, nothing has worked. I have also tried everything on the forum that people mention that it worked for them but up to now none proves useful to me.
    Hope you can help

    My system specs:
    Laptop: Asus x51a
    CPU: T9400
OS: windows 7 RTM ultimate 64x dual boot with Vista business 86x
    Motherboard M51A
    Memory: 4Gb
    Graphics card: Intel GMAX4500HD
    NIC: Realtek RTL8168C(P)/8111C(P)
I updated the second lastest of my bios since the lastest give me the BSOD when I change AC to battery mode and vice versa.
