wireless connection problem after start-up
I'm having trouble connecting to my wireless modem after I startup my laptop. The first few times it fails to connect even though the connection bars are full. It won't connect automatically and offers me to troubleshoot. I then try to connect manually a few times. Still it won't connect for a couple of times even though the connection bar is fully green and the password is correct. After about 10 times trying manually it finally connects and I can internet problem free the entire time without loosing connection.
It only seems to happen when I try to connect the first time. Whenever I startup the laptop and try to go on the internet. I often have to try it a couple of times and after a few failed attempts it finally connects and then the problems are over. My laptop uses a Broadcom 802.11n adapter and it doesn't find any more recent drivers so it's not an update issue. It also isn't a modem issue cause it happens not only at home but also at when I'm using the laptop on other places with other wireless modems.
What could be causing this? I've checked for virusses and it doesn't find any. Any more things I could check for?
