Bridged connection is connecting to a different network

I bridged my Wlan from my laptop to a desktop using a ethernet cable, but the network bridge is connecting to another network (which doesnt exist, it's SSID is my network's name before i changed it) and i don't have access to the internet on the desktop..
I also deleted all the saved networks in "Manage Wireless Networks" but it didnt help.

Is the wlan card been added to the bridge also.

On the Local Area connection(ethernet) ensure DHCP is enabled.

Your ubuntu has the same ip address as the network bridge it cannot be the same please ensure DHCP is enabled on the wired connection on there as well. A guide below how to do it.

I deleted all the saved networks in "Merge or Delete Network Locations" and it solved my problem.
