security on gprs network
I am not sure about security on gprs connection.Basically what i do is that i plug in the usb modem to my laptop, choose network selection as automatic, and in the configuration,i fill in the connection name and the apn(which i got from the website of the company whose sim card i use).and then i get connected.
Although the sim provider is a reputed one ,and they must have highly secured their network ,but what is the security at my end, while i try toconnect my computer to the given apn.
basically ,my question is ,how can we safely connect to a gprs connection when the apn provider is a reputed one ?
