Problem with wireless adaptor or access point

    Hi!

My internet has been crappy lately - randomly, it just stops working until I troubleshoot it.

    -My internet connection is wireless
    - I use Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit

This is what it says after I troubleshoot it. It is a very annoying issue =/

If anybody can help I would appreciate it greatly!
    Thanks!

    Welcome to Seven Forums,

I'd consider updating your Wi-Fi adapter to the latest one if you have not done this yet.

Also, a Xirrus capture might be worth reviewing. Download, install and run Xirrus Wi-Fi Inspector so that we can see if there's any signal issue or interference.
To run Xirrus Wi-Fi Inspector, double click the Xirrus icon on your Desktop, you may use the Windows 7 snipping tool to crop or Paint by tapping the Print screen key on your keyboard, open up Paint (Click on Start>All Programs>Accessories>Paint) then choose Edit from the Menu and select Paste, then save it and please attach the file on your next post.

Thanks for posting the Xirrus capture, it looks good. Have you also updated your Wi-Fi adapter's driver to the latest?

Any small electronic device may also cause interference. What is your signed up bandwidth with your ISP?

Is it possible for you to connect to another Wi-Fi network and see if you can replicate the issue?

Thanks for taking your time to help! :)
If updating the Wi-Fi adapter's drivers means going into Device Manager and updating drivers - I have!

    -I've signed with Shaw
-Unfortunately, all the other networks are password protected
-My brother can connect perfectly but his is connected directly with wires
-I cannot connect fine through my iPhone, just not this computer wirelessly.

If more than wireless device is affected, it might be worth it to do a router firmware update. Make sure that you connect wire to download and install the new firmware. If that didn't help at all, reset the router to the factory default setting then start fresh. You may always back the current router configuration prior to the reset.

Bah sorry, I meant to say that my iPhone does indeed connect to the internet, as well as my brother's wired internet.
    Sorry about my typing errors!

It seems to be just your comp thats the problem. I assume your wireless is a card in the comp, try pulling the card out clean the bunnies up, contacts and the slot, reinstall it back. You be surprised at how much grief dust and debris can produce.
